AARP survey: Economy is top issue for a third of respondents
WAILUKU – Nearly a third of Maui residents more than 50 years old say they would like to see candidates for state offices address the economy as their top issue, according to a survey by AARP.

Bankers survey shows signs of rebounding economy
A survey of rural bankers in 10 Midwest and Plains states released Thursday showed signs of a rebounding economy. The overall index for the Rural Mainstreet economic report jumped to 54.3 in May from 44.2 the previous month.
